Cerro Escondido Adventure (2D/1N)

Day 1  10:00 a.m. Arrive at Karen Mogensen Reserve entrance. Lunch at Hermanos Rojas café. Walk to the waterfall and natural pools. Dinner and chat on the conservation association.

Day 2  Early morning walk to view the sunrise in the observation tower. Breakfast. Hike along the primary forest. Head back to your new destination.

Included: Reserve entrance, walk to the waterfall and natural pools, presentation on the conservation association, early morning walk to viewpoint, 1 breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, local guide.

Optional: Horse to carry the luggage $25.

Local guide in Cerro Escondido only speak spanish. If you need a local bilingual guide add $65 / per day / per group.

Cerro Escondido Highlights (3D/2N)

Day 1: 10:00 a.m. Arrive at Montaña Grande community. Horse-ride to Cerro Escondido Lodge. Delicious lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon: plant a tree. Chat on ASEPALECO’s conservation efforts. Overnight at Cerro Escondido.

Day 2:  Birdwatching tour. Breakfast. Trekking tour along the rainforest. Lunch and walk to Velo de la Novia Waterfall and swim in the natural pools. Dinner and overnight at Cerro Escondido.

Day 3:  Breakfast. Walk through Karen Mogensen Reserve to San Ramón de Río Blanco. Lunch at Hermanos Rojas café. Departure.

Included: reserve entrance, walk through Karen Mogensen Reserve, planting a tree activity, birdwatching tour, walk to Velo de Novia waterfall, presentation on the conservation association, 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners, local guide.
